Guatemala Dental Mission 2025

Giving Back Beyond Borders

In 2025, Dr. Caroline Ossaian from Your Dental Spa with a team of dedicated dental professionals on a humanitarian mission to Guatemala. What unfolded over 10 remarkable days was nothing short of extraordinary.

Working alongside the Mayor of Guatemala, the Guatemalan Army, and Police Force, the team set up a full dental clinic inside a community gymnasium, treating patients from across the region who had little or no access to dental care.

From extractions and oral surgery to cleanings and restorations, the team worked tirelessly from morning to night driven by a shared belief that quality dental care is a right, not a privilege.

Over the course of the mission, 1,400 patients received free dental treatment. Many had never seen a dentist before. The smiles, the gratitude, and the human connection made every moment unforgettable.

The gratitude of the Guatemalan people was felt in the most heartfelt ways. Patients and their families, overjoyed to receive care, would bring small handmade gifts of food they had prepared themselves a gesture of love and appreciation that moved the entire team deeply.

The Mayor, the police, and the army were not just present they were genuinely invested in the wellbeing of the people they served. Their enthusiasm and support created an atmosphere of community, warmth, and shared purpose that the team will carry with them forever.

It was more than a dental mission. It was a reminder of what is possible when people come together with open hearts a truly happy, amazing experience that none of us will ever forget.
